We are looking to expand our team with skilled and experienced carpenters to help us continue delivering on exceptional construction projects across New Zealand.
Position Overview
Our clients are seeking skilled and experienced truck drivers’ class 2, 4,and 5 . The roles will be involved mainly in commercial based duties, working full days, with overtime on offer on the weekend if requested.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating heavy machinery safely
- Attend and participate in the weekly toolbox talks
- Great hand-eye coordination
- Working both on your own and a part of a team
- Set up machinery for operation
- Start machinery and make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance
- Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions
- Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance
- Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor
- Comply with all safety and health regulations
- Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area
Experience
- Previous machine operating experience in a relevant role for six months
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job – standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of from 25kgs
- Driver’s License (International is suitable) or a form of transport to get yourself to site
- Reliable and punctual
- A positive attitude
- Forklift license/Osh DG license – desirable
